The IGSP is a research institute where clinical trials are an important part of translating research into clinical practice. Although many of our scientists perform research involving patients, we are not a health-care facility. The IGSP does not offer treatment. All clinical trials that include our research are done together with Duke University Medical Center or the Duke Comprehensive Cancer Center. Always discuss any questions about your treatment with your cancer doctor or surgeon.
If you have questions about genomics and cancer or breast cancer genomics at the IGSP, call 919-681-8659.
To find clinical trials at a hospital near you or to learn more about cancer, please call the National Cancer Institute hotline: 1-800-4-CANCER.
